Hard Knock Life.. My Story...

I was born and raised in a small town called Somers Point. I lived on a quiet street near a golf course with my mom, dad and brother Dan. Throughout my life I worked hard and put most of my time into playing basketball. I would practice morning, noon or night and weather didn't prevent me from missing a day. The hard work paid off and I went to college on a full ride. After graduating college with a teachers degree, I was hired as the girls coach for Stockton College where I spent 6 years coaching. I was also hired to teach at Jordan Road School and I have been here ever since. I have to say my favorite hobby is Basketball, mostly coaching now, (I have been the boys basketball coach here for 10 years). But I also enjoy going to the beach, crossfit and technology. I love working in the 7th grade because I have the best team in the district and the kids are ok too. :) Did I mention I have a oversized, well small horse, dog. I adopted my dog "Mac Attack" (of course I named him after my favorite apple technology) as a puppy, five years ago and he just got bigger and bigger. So big when he stands up he looks me in the eye! My favorite subject is Global Studies because I love to learn about other societies, wars and government, but thanks to our 7th grade ELA teachers I am starting to enjoy Language Arts more and more. Lastly my favorite saying is "Go Jags Go" because I love our community and I have an enormous amount of school and community pride. Some say I bleed green!
